Message Series

God is not visible to us, which is why the Bible is filled with powerful imagery of who He is and How he works in our lives.

The Bronze Altar

When a people entered the tabernacle, the first thing they would see was the bronze altar. It reminded them of the justice of God. To approach holy God there first had to be a sacrifice for their sins.

The Laver

In this series, we are taking a tour of God’s Old Testament house, the Tabernacle. The pieces of furniture in this house are but images that represent some greater spiritual truth.

This week we will look at the laver, or wash basin.

The Lamp Stand

We continue our series, “Images.” a study of the Tabernacle and the furniture in the Tabernacle. This week we will focus on the lamp stand.

The lamp stand is an image of Jesus who said, “I am the light of the world.” He also said that we are to be the light of the world.
In this message, we consider what it means to be a light in our community.

When We Pray, Things Happen

We’ve been in a sermon series called images. In particular, we’ve been looking at the pieces of furniture in the Tabernacle because every single piece of furniture represents a characteristic of God.

In this message, we’re going to be discussing the altar of incense which represents the prayers of God’s people going up to Him.

God invites us to pray. He wants us to pray, and most importantly when we pray, things happen.

Join us as we talk about prayer.
