Welcome People to Tab
This is a short description helping motivate people to understand the importance of the ministry.
The primary responsibilities of a greeter are to make all people feel welcome and to acquaint first time quests with our facilities. Greeters are located at the entrances doors, welcome everyone with a smile, and answer first-time guest questions and guide them to their classes, child care, and worship center.
A smiling face who is willing to help other congregants get involved in different areas of church life.
As an Usher Team Leader, you encourage your usher volunteers and provide the logistics they need in order to help create a welcoming environment that radiates Christ’s love to our attendees.
The week prior to the service you remind members of your team that they are scheduled for the coming Sunday. You encourage them through personal conversations and/or thank you notes. You help recruit additional team members if needed.
We want to do our best to make every guest feel like they are welcome at Tab Church. Tab ushers do this by helping people find a seat and by collecting the offering in a clear and organized way.
A successful usher is ready to be the first to say “hello”. They make eye contact and are genuine and welcoming with their actions
We want to do our best to make every guest feel like they are welcome at Tab Church by greeting and assisting them in a way that radiates Christ’s passion and love for them. Every Sunday is someone’s first Sunday! The greeting team welcomes guests, answers any questions they may have, and assists them in locating the various ministry areas of the church.
To be successful in this position, you need to have a warm smile, outgoing personality, and feel comfortable approaching people you have never met before.
