Student Ministry

Sunday evening: Lighthouse (6th-12th grade)

Student Ministry Program: Lighthouse

We have a large group time of worship for both middle school and high school students. From there, middle school students break off for a large group game, followed by small group time. High school students remain in our main stage area for an interactive large group teaching and discussion time, where we challenge students to think about biblical truth and process their faith.

On a typical Sunday evening, we have a combined time of worship through music and singing for both middle school and high school students together. Following that, high school students have a large group teaching time that encourages honesty and students having a dialogue about how faith intersects their actual lives. We strive to present biblical truth in a way that makes sense for high school students. While we clearly present biblical truth and what it means to follow Jesus, we do not simply talk at students but engage them in ongoing dialogue on how this truth touches upon their lives.

For middle school students, we have small groups by grade and gender. Students discuss in these small groups what we learned about in the large group teaching time from Sunday morning. We recap that teaching with a brief video clip or verbal recap. We also have a large group game or activity for the students to do all together prior to the small group time.

For both groups, there is time at the beginning and end for games and hanging out in a great environment for students. We encourage you to come out Tab Student Ministry one Sunday night and check out the Lighthouse! If you have any questions contact Louis Fischer at
