Student Ministry

Sunday evening: Lighthouse (6th-12th grade)

Student Ministry Program: Lighthouse

We have a large group time of worship for high school students. High school students then listen to a sermon based out of a Biblical text that is designed to help them navigate the current season of their lives. They then break off into small groups where they discuss with their leaders and peers on how to apply the Biblical text in their lives and build a community with other students of the same age and gender.

We meet at 107 Seekle St. Norfolk, VA 23505. Please use the Filbert St. entrance. On a typical Sunday evening, we have a time of worship through music and singing for high school students together. Following that, high school students have a large group teaching time that encourages honesty and students having a dialogue about how faith intersects their actual lives. We strive to present biblical truth in a way that makes sense for high school students. There is time at the beginning and end for games and hanging out in an excellent environment for students. We encourage you to come out Tab High School Student Ministry one Sunday night and check out Lighthouse! We also encourage our high school students to serve with the larger church body on Sunday mornings. We have a plethora of openings to make our worship service run smoothly: nursery, elementary, video and audio, ushering, welcome team, and many more! If you have any questions contact Louis Fischer at
