WE GO ALL OUT

Generosity is something God wants for us, not something He wants from us.

As Christ Followers, we order our lives around generosity. We know that the life Jesus has for us is found by giving ours away. We want to invite you to worship God through giving, as you are making an incredible difference in the mission of Tab Church.

WHY GIVE?

Your generosity reflects the heart of God and makes an impact in the lives of those around us. Thank you for being generous and having the attitude that we “get to” be generous, not “have to.”

What does the Bible say about Generosity?

Jesus talks about money more than any other single topic! Don’t worry, Jesus isn’t interested in “getting your money” but He does understand that our money has a profound way of capturing our heart. The love of money creates heartstrings that pull us away from a prosperous life by encumbering us to the systems of this world. When we leverage our money through a lifestyle of generosity, we experience freedom in our finances and power over the strings that easily entrap our heart.

Where does the money go?

Here is a breakdown of the 2024-2025 ministry year operational budget. Each ministry year looks slightly different but this is a good basis for where the finances go to operate in the capacity we believe God calls us to.

Updates like these you will see at the end of a ministry year (Early September) for "Celebration Sunday" or at "Family Meetings" which happen throughout the year.

What is the helping hands fund?

The helping hands fund is our benevolence fund. Overseen by a volunteer (Martha Gorman) and her team who field calls and make sure the money is going where it is needed and where it can be most beneficial. At Tab Church, we believe in giving a hand up not a hand out. If interested in helping out with this ministry, email Martha Gorman

Why do we not see missions giving and other ministry support in our budget?

There are multiple reasons we do not see missionary support and our Church families other ministry financial generosity.

  1. The more direct the gift to the missionary or ministry, the least amount of processing fees withdrawn from the gift.
  2. The ever changing nature of missions and the different ministries our Church family support makes budgeting more ever changing and difficult leaving us with unclear financial goals.
  3. Some of ministries our Church family give to, Tab does not have a direct connection with.
