Much of our local outreach comes in the form of followers of Christ from Tab Church sharing the gospel where they live, work, study, and play. While outreach programs are important, our philosophy is that the church of Jesus Christ should be equipped and empowered to reach our local community organically. Our people, and not a program, are our most important local outreach.
Join us in making a difference right here in Norfolk by serving at Winter Shelter. Each winter, our church opens its doors to our homeless neighbors, providing them with a hot dinner, a safe, warm place to sleep and a hearty breakfast. This is more than just shelter—it's an opportunity to extend love and compassion to those in need. This is a powerful way to serve our community, and we’d love for you to be a part of it. Whether you can volunteer for one night or several, your presence will make a significant impact. For more info, contact our Winter Shelter Coordinator.

Good News Clubs (GNC) are offered through Child Evangelism Fellowship, a Bible-centered organization composed of born-again believers whose purpose is to evangelize boys and girls with the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ and to establish and disciple them in the Word of God and in a local church for Christian living.
Tab Church currently sponsors GNC afterschool at Suburban Park on Thursdays during the school year (October-May). Volunteers, including team leaders for Wednesdays are needed as we look forward to returning to Granby Elementary next year!
